And so it goes.....

With watching all the local news about our economy and the current rate of unemployment I have realized that WE are fixing to be in that percentage...My husband, after 14 years with Cooper Tire & Rubber Inc. will be out of a job. He, at the age of 39, will have to find another job or career path. It is so hard to stomach after so many years of dedication to that company. Not that we meant anything more than a clock number, but it just is what it is. He is now having to look at other career paths. He has worked so hard for all that we have and feels like we could lose it all.

I am not really into politics, to me it always feels like choosing the lesser of two evils. So I don't really keep up with all that they are doing. But now it seems like every time you turn on the t.v., they are talking about the bail outs and how much MORE they are going to need. And what the ones that have already been "bailed-out" have spent their money on..Its CRAZY!! Can you believe these companies are not being held responsible for their actions??? But believe me, when you are late paying one of them, they are hounded you to death.. Now we are going to have to borrow money from other countries to clean up their mess... I think if they want to stimulate the economy, give every taxpaying citizen in America the money..Not the companies. Give it to the hard working, barely getting by people. I know, its a stretch, but it makes more sense to me, than for us to pay for private jets and luxurious resorts with our taxes. What do you think? I don't know a lot about politics, but I do know about being on a budget and if I don't have any money then we don't get to eat.. Isn't that what all this is about, they made bad financial decisions, bad investments, and spent money needlessly and they get bailed out.

Ok, off the soap box, or in my case the coffee can. :]
